Rebecca Bowers
Rebecca Jean Bowers, 48, 805 McKinley Road, St. Marys, died at 5:05 p.m. Aug. 20, 2008, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, following complications from heart surgery.
She was born Aug. 5, 1960, in Muncie, Ind., to Glen and Judy Frazier Cross, who survive in Winchester, Ind. On Nov. 21, 1992, she married Mark Bowers, who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Joseph Dillow, South Bend, Ind.; a daughter, Heather Cross, St. Marys; a stepson, Shane Bowers, Wapakoneta; a stepdaughter, Shonda Bowers, Perrysburg; three brothers, Scott (Anna) Cross and Marty (Wendy) Cross, all of Winchester, and Steve (Janelle) Cross, Greenville; a grandmother, Thelma Frazier, Winchester; and parents-in-law, John and Jill Bowers, St. Marys.
Deceased is an infant daughter, April.
She was a homemaker and had attended Winchester High School.
Services are 7 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Bill Maki officiating. Private family burial will be held at a later date.
Calling is 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
