Wilma Savage
Wilma M. Savage, 86, 517 Southway Drive, St. Marys, died at 8:44 p.m. Aug. 21, 2008, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born May 7, 1922, in Mercer County to George and Ruth Baker Miller. On Sept. 24, 1927, she married Ronald M. Savage, Sr., who survives.
Other survivors are three sons, Jim (Maria) Sullivan, Celina, Ronald (Anita) and Duane, all of St. Marys; a daughter, Ruth Ann (Lewis) Sell, St. Marys; a brother, Zane Miller, St. Marys; three sisters, Lavere Alexander and Faye Jenkins, both of St. Marys, and Verla Gray, Celina; 22 grandchildren and number great-grandchildren.
Deceased are an infant son; two brothers, Wayne and Doyt Miller; two sisters, Nadine Dickerson and Ila Slemmons; and three great-granddaughters.
She was a homemaker and had worked at the former DWG Cigar Factory and the former St. Marys Cotton Mill.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Mark Foor officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is noon-1:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
