* Flash Flood Warning for... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 700 AM EDT.
* At 309 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 435 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Wapakoneta, St. Marys, New Bremen, Minster, Jackson Center, Botkins, New Knoxville, Moulton, Buckland, Uniopolis, Kettlersville, Fryburg, McCartyville, Montra, St. Johns, Bulkhead and Egypt.

Ruth Grile
Former Fort Recovery resident Ruth Grile, 81, of Piqua, died at 6 a.m. Sept. 15, 2008, at Garbry Ridge Assisted Living, Piqua.
She was born Oct. 20, 1926, in Lorain, to Russel and Hazel Young Pyle. On Sept. 3, 1955, she married Dwight Grile, who died Sept. 13, 1991.
Surviving are a son, Stanley (Barbara), Troy; two daughters, Lynne, Troy, and Myrna (William) O'Brien, Marshall, Va.; a sister, Bonnie Pyle, Piqua; a brother-in-law, Donald Harter, Fort Recovery; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sisters, Betty Harter and Mae Norberg.
She retired as a bookkeeper for Hull Brothers, Fort Recovery. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Fort Recovery, and a 1944 graduate of Fort Recovery High School.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Verl Ballmer officiating. Burial is at Springhill Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Thursday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, and 9:30 a.m. until time of services Friday at the church.
Contributions can be made to Hospice of Miami County.
