A few hours of light snow are expected late this evening, mainly after 8 pm. While accumulations will be light, some challenging travel conditions may develop given the cold temperatures.
Additional snow may linger through Monday morning with accumulations remaining light. However, increasing winds and very cold temperatures will support blowing snow, primarily in rural areas.
Challenging travel conditions will be possible starting late this evening, continuing through the day on Monday. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

* WHERE...Portions of east central Indiana and central and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From 7 AM Monday to 9 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 10 below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

William Hooker
William Don Hooker, 77, Lima, died at 4:50 p.m., Sept. 16, 2008, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born on Feb. 23, 1931, in Lima, to Earl Smith and Loretta Lighthill Hooker. He married his first wife, Esther Hahn in 1950, and divorced in 1970. He married Joanne Strauer who preceded him in death. He then married Margie Vogel, who survives in Fort Recovery.
Other survivors are his former wife, Esther Hahn (James) Harshbarger, Lima; three daughters, Linda (Richard) Offenbacher, Wildwood, Mo. and Bonita Springs, Fla., and Deborah (Daniel) Miller of Severna Park, Md. and New Bern, N.C.; four brothers, Garland, Ft. Pierce, Fla., David, Nakomis, Fla., twins-Ronald and Donald, both of Lima; a sister, Betty Metcalf, Dayton; eight stepsons, Steve (Chris) Strauer, Rob (Becky) Strauer and Harold (Carol) Siebeneck, all of Ottawa, Jerry (Marilyn) Vogel, Mark (Marilyn) Vogel, Rich Vogel, Charlie (Chris) Vogel and Steve (Lois) Vogel all of Mercer County; two stepdaughters, Bev (Chuck) Sanning and Marilyn (Jerry) Guggenbiller of Mercer County; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, John, Charles and Gerald; and a sister, Helen Klink.
Services are 2 p.m., Saturday at the Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, Lima, the Rev. David Ross officiating. He was cremated and there will be no burial service.
Calling is 1-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
