The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Eddie Bonifas
Eddie Allen Bonifas, 59, 116 North First St., Coldwater, died 5:47 p.m. Nov. 20, 2008, at his residence from natural causes.
He was born Dec. 18, 1948, in Celina to Emmet and Doris Pfoff Bonifas.
Surviving are three brothers, Dennis (Janet), Edgerton, Douglas (Diane), Celina, and Scott, Coldwater; six sisters, Nita (Albert) Thornsberry, Hollybush, Ky., Lynda (Paul) Macke, Sebring, Fla., Jacquelyn (Garland) Lemons, Chandler, Ariz., Roxanne (James) Boise, Teresa (Jacob) Rodriguez and Julie Huber, all of Celina; and one grandchild.
Deceased is a son, Ronnie Smith.
He was formerly employed at S&K, Coldwater, as a tool and die maker and at Crown, New Bremen, as a welder. He served in the U.S. Air Force, was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and graduated from Coldwater High School.
Services are 3 p.m. Sunday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Richard Riedel officiating.
