ST. HENRY - The defense of the St. Henry Redskins shined again on Friday, holding St. Marys to just 12 first-half points en route to a 53-31 win over the Roughriders in the home opener at Redskin Gymnasium. St. Henry improves to 2-0 on the season as St. Marys drops to 0-2.
FORT RECOVERY - The Fort Recovery Indians fell victim to cold shooting for three periods on Friday night as they dug themselves a hole too big to climb out of as they fell to the Jay County Patriots, 49-45, in nonleague action at Fort Site Fieldhouse.
Parkway was clutch at the foul line, allowing the Panthers to go to 3-0 on the season with a 51-48 win over Van Wert at the Cougar Den on Friday night. The Cougars drop to 1-2 on the season with the loss.
