* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 105 possible.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Consecutive days of excessive heat and humidity can be especially hazardous as warm overnight temperatures will provide little relief. The heat may continue into Wednesday.

Charles Burkhardt
Charles Burkhardt, 84, 691 state Route 29, Celina, died at 1:12 p.m. Dec. 16, 2008, at the Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford.
He was born May 12, 1924, in Harbor Beach, Mich., to Walter and Violet Dawson Burkhardt. He married Rita Begin, who survives.
Other survivors are four sons, Darryl, Bear Lake, Mich., Charles, Huntington, Ind., Michael, Coldwater, and Anthony, Knoxville, Tenn.; five daughters, Letetia Mahan, Burleson, Texas, Jean Palnerow, Thornton, Pa., Jeanette Katt, Celina, Alice Kemmer, Sylvania, and Jacintia, Traverse City, Mich.; and a sister, Joyce Clark, Seattle, Wash.
He was a retired millwright working for 381/2 years for Dow Corning in Midland, Mich., and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
