* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A lull in rainfall will continue for much of the day. However, additional storms will move into the area later this afternoon. The risk of heavy rainfall will be greatest tonight into early Friday morning. There is also the potential for storms to repeatedly move over the same locations, which increases flash flood risk.

Leon Meyer
Wabash native Leon L. "Skip" Meyer, 76, of Lima, died at 5:45 p.m. Jan. 10, 2009, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born Aug. 20, 1932, in Wabash, to Orland and Mary Fetters Meyer. His first wife, Betty Fencher Dohse, survives. On July 31, 1987, he married Barbara Knipe, who also survives.
Other survivors are three sons, Steve, Stockport, Mike, Ortonville, Mich., and Gordon (Jackie), Vaughnsville; a stepson, Timothy (Angie) Jacobs, Lima; a stepdaughter, Cheryl (Larry) Bowers, Covington, Ga.; a stepdaughter-in-law, Kim Jones; a sister, Marilyn (William) Suever, Wolcottville, Ind.; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, 10 stepgrandchildren and several stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased are two stepsons, Rick Jacobs and Stephen Jacobs; and a stepdaughter, Linda Jacobs.
He retired in 1991 as a maintenance supervisor at Lima State Hospital/Correctional Facility after 32 years. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Lima.
Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, the Rev. John Perkins officiating. Burial is at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
