Very strong wind gusts and dry soil is leading to areas of blowing dust across the area. This is causing visibility to be reduced to one mile or less in localized area.
Motorists should be prepared for rapidly changing visibility. Slow down and leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle in front of you.
As winds slowly decrease late this afternoon into the evening, blowing dust should diminish.

James Casteele
Celina native James L. Casteele, 86, of Troy, died at 10:15 a.m. Feb. 16, 2009, at Koester Pavilion, Troy.
He was born Oct. 10, 1922, in Celina, to Raymond F. and Theda Taylor Casteele. His wife of 61 years, Sue Neumeier, survives.
Other survivors are several nephews and nieces.
Deceased is a brother, B. Franklin; and a nephew.
He retired in 1982 from Hobart Corporation, Troy, and was a member of the Elks Lodge, Hobart Quarter Century Club, American Legion, Brukner Rock and Gem Club, Friends of the Library and the Historical Society, all of Troy. He was a veteran of the U.S. Infantry Paratroopers serving in World War II from 1942-1945.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Burial is at Riverside Cemetery with graveside services conducted by the Veterans Honor Guard.
Calling is 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
