Alice Stewart
Alice A. Stewart, 98, of 00663 Arnold Road, St. Marys, died at 1:50 p.m. April 18, 2009, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born Aug. 3, 1910, in Salem Township, Auglaize County, to Irvin and Gertrude Sprague Rapp. On Dec. 18, 1930, she married Roy M. Stewart, who died Jan. 15, 1983.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Alice (Pearl) Stone, Celina, and Carol (William) Davidson, Wapakoneta; three grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, six great-grandchildren, seven stepgreat-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a stepgreat-great-grandchild.
Deceased is a sister, Leah Kelly; and a brother, Lewis Rapp.
She graduated in 1928, from the former Buckland High School. She was an accomplished artist and painted landscapes.
Private family burial is at Kossuth Cemetery.
