Arthur Severt
Arthur A. Severt, 81, 506 W. Elizabeth St., Coldwater, died at 9:23 a.m. April 28, 2009, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born Jan. 22, 1928, in Carthagena to Fred and Josephine Uhlenhake Severt.
Surviving are a brother, Ralph, Coldwater; a sister, Mildred Griesdorn, Coldwater; a brother-in-law, Robert Fleck, Coldwater; two sisters-in-law, Josie Severt, Rockford, and Mary Ann Severt, Coldwater; and his caregiver, Toni Siefring, Celina.
Deceased are silblings and their spouses, Wilfred Severt, Esther Severt, Ed and Anna Severt, Victor Severt, Alvin Severt, Mary Ann and Daniel Seitz, Ralph Griesdorn and Esther Fleck.
A member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, he was former owner-operator and general manager at St. Anthony Feed Mill and owner-operator of AS Poultry. He was a member of the American Legion Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Fraternal Order of Eagles, all in Coldwater. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.
Service is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
