An arctic cold front will move through the area this afternoon and evening, bringing snow showers and much colder air. While accumulations will generally be less than one half inch, quick bursts of snow will result in reductions in visibility and slick conditions at times. Some snow squalls are possible, which could lead to locally difficult travel conditions.

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero expected.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana and central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From 1 AM Monday to 10 AM EST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

Steve Ashley
Steve Ashley Jr., 79, 6623 Erastus-Durbin Road, Celina, died at 11:15 a.m. June 7, 2009, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
He was born Aug. 5, 1929, in Powell County, Ky. to Steve S. Sr. and Mary Lou Caldwell Ashley On Jan. 15, 1983, he married Lucille Butt, who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Leroy (Donna) Ashley, Winchester, Ind.; a daughter Vicky Walling, Winchester; stepchildren, Barb Hodge, Fort Recovery, Richard (Debbie) Godwin, Greenville, Ralph (Brenda) Godwin, Ansonia, Dale Godwin, Greenville, and Clarence (Angie) Godwin, Greenville; a sister, Ida Mae of Florida; brothers, Eugene and Lemon Ashley, Winchester, Ind..; 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers Clyde and Cecil Ashley.
He was a maintenance supervisor at the Overmyer Foundry, Winchester. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Celina, and the Celina Booster Association.
Memorial service is 1 p.m. Thursday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Bruce Head officiating.
Calling is one hour prior to service.
