Southerly winds will increase today ahead of an approaching cold front. Sustained winds of 15 to 25 mph can be expected with gusts of 35 to 45 mph at times this afternoon. Be sure to secure outdoor objects.

Gisela Wolterman
Gisela E. Woltermann, 83, 215 W. Butler St., Fort Recovery, died at 10:03 p.m. Aug. 24, 2009, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 16, 1926, in Dessau, Germany to Franz and Emily Leiberich Neugebauer. On Sept. 4, 1948, she married William Woltermann, who died April 19, 1979.
Surviving are two sons, Chris Woltermann, Fort Recovery and Michael Woltermann, Washington, Pa.; three brothers, Christoph Neugebauer, West Lafayette, Ind., Wendell (Sheila) Neugebauer, Balston Spa, N.Y., and Gerald (Peggy) Neugebauer, Albany, N.Y.
Deceased is a brother Con Neugebauer.
She retired as director of religious education at St. Bernard Parish, Springfield. She was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, the Altar Sodality of the church and the Maria Stein Adoration Guild.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Charles Mullen officiating. Burial is at St. Bernard Cemetery, Springfield.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
