Rebecca Santa
Rebecca Ann "Becky" Santa, 62, of Florence, Ariz., and formerly of Celina, died at 12:30 a.m. Sept. 10, 2009, in Logan. Death was due to natural causes.
She was born on April 2, 1947, in Lima to Raymond and Phyllis Burgess McDonald, who survive in Fort Myers, Fla. On Jan. 25, 1964, he married Rebecca married Jon R. Santa, who survives in Florence.
Other survivors are are two sons, Rob (Brenda) Santa, Wake Forest, N.C., and Jeff (Andrea) Santa, Pickerington; a daughter, Julie Smith, Louisburg, N.C.; two sisters, Linda Anderson, Louisburg, N.C. and Cindy Tipton, Lima; and seven grandchildren.
She worked as an LPN at area nursing homes, chiefly at Briarwood in Coldwater. She also worked many years at Arnie's Corner in Montezuma and the New Life Fitness Center in Celina. She was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, both in Celina. She graduated from Celina Senior High School.
Memorial service is 1 p.m. Saturday at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Douglas Meyer officiating.
Calling is one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Friends are invited to join the family as they celebrate Becky's life beginning at 6 p.m. at the Celina post of the VFW.
