John Zuber
John Kenneth Zuber, 76, 5170 Township Line Rd., Coldwater, died Nov.15, 2009 in an accident at his residence.
He was born Jan. 19, 1933, in St. Marys to Kenneth and Mary Fisher Zuber. On Aug. 4, 1954, he married Lorene A. Guingrich Zuber, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Gary (Cathy) Zuber, Beavercreek; two daughters, Christine K. (Mark) Nagel, Wapakoneta and Donna L. (Mark) Brown, Englewood; a sister, Mary Florence (Bill) Eichar, Bradenton, Fla.; a son-in-law, Jeff Piper, New Bremen; and 10 grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Lorna Piper; and a grandson.
He was a 1952 graduate of Celina High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked for several years at Amaco in Celina, Coldwater Grain North, Rockford, and most recently at Helena driving truck. He was a member of St Paul Lutheran Church, Coldwater, the American Legion, New Bremen and Neighborhood Farm Bureau Counsel.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Bruce Bair officiating. Burial is at the Lutheran Cemetery in Wabash. Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, and one hour beforeserviceat the church.
