Celina Fire Chief Doug Wolters cuts the battery cable on one of the vehicles involved in an accident at the intersection of Grand Lake and Havemann roads in Celina at 10:48 a.m. Monday. The accident occurred when Marcel Welling, 30, of Ohio City, failed to stop for a traffic signal on Grand Lake Road and drove his southbound car into the intersection. The car collided with an eastbound pickup truck driven by Roger Kincaid, 58, 604 N. Main St., Celina. Kincaid was taken by ambulance to Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys, and Welling was cited for a red light violation, according to Celina Police reports.
