Mercer County commissioners this week agreed to hire a company to re-design the Web site of the county's economic development office.
The contract stipulates the commissioners - on behalf of the economic development office - will pay Gogical Technology Consulting a sum of $5,000 to customize a Web site and continue to maintain and support it in various capacities. [More]

The last time Coldwater tangled with Youngstown Ursuline in a state championship game, it turned out to be a game that would be talked about along with other great state championship games.
While many Cavalier fans may only remember the Cavaliers falling 49-37 to the Irish at Fawcett Stadium on that Dec. 1 day in 2000, the game continues to be spoke about around the state. It was even brought up during Monday's statewide media teleconference. [More]

Crews from two state parks cooperate on project
A total of 140 stumps and logs were removed from Grand Lake during a six-week project to improve navigational safety in the lake, reported Grand Lake St. Marys State Park Assistant Manager Brian Miller.
MINSTER - A streetscape saluting the rich history of this Auglaize County village is what planners envision for the Fourth Street reconstruction project in 2011. The entire project including street work carries a $3.6 million price tag.
The recent death of a 71-year-old St. Marys man involved in a Nov. 21 accident has been ruled a traffic fatality, according to Mercer County Sheriff's Office reports.
