Marjorie Zimmerman
Marjorie Zimmerman, 51, 825 Dorothy Lane, St. Marys, died at 5:45 a.m. Feb. 2, 2010, at her home following a four-year battle with cancer.
She was born Oct. 23, 1958, in St. Marys, to Robert Sr. and Jewell Horn Haskell, who are deceased.
Surviving are three sisters, Patsy Maher, St. Marys, Paula Wagner, Lima, and Lisa (Gregory) Thompson, Celina; and a brother, Robert Jr. (Cheryl) Haskell, Troy, Tenn.
Deceased is a daughter, Lendsay Zimmerman.
She formerly worked at Kmart Corp. for 29 years and served as the district loss control manager and assistant manager of the St. Marys store. A 1977 graduate of Memorial High School, she was a member and past president of the St. Marys Optimist Club, and member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary and Grace United Methodist Church, all of St. Marys.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Jon Kraner officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys.
Contributions can be made to the church or St. Rita's Hospice.
