Sharon Meinerding
Celina native Sharon S. Meinerding, 56, 239 Clermont Ave., Decatur, Ind., died at 5:57 a.m. Feb. 9, 2010, at St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind. Death was due to natural causes.
She was born Jan. 28, 1954, in Celina, to Wilbur and Alice Vale Stein. Her first husband, Mike Freistuhler, died in 1995. Her second husband, Richard Meinerding, survives.
Other survivors are a son, Douglas Freistuhler, Prudenville, Mich.; two daughters, Melissa (Glen) Hitchcock and Mary (Philip) Hall, all of Decatur; a brother, Richard Stein of Florida; a sister, Virginia Hague of Florida; a brother-in-law, James Hague, Celina; and five grandchildren.
Deceased is a grandson.
A 1974 graduate of Celina High School, she was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Celina. She also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and American Legion Auxiliary, both of Celina, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, Decatur, Ind.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Jeff Conrad officiating. Burial is at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
