Betty Remaklus
Betty J. Remaklus, 89, of St. Henry, died at 3:32 a.m. Feb. 27, 2010, at The Gardens at St. Henry.
She was born Jan. 27, 1921, in Mercer County, to Albert and Nora Kothman Vondrell. On Jun. 28, 1947, she married John Remaklus, who died Aug. 13, 1978.
Surviving are two daughters, Pat (Bob) Kunk and Judy (Ron) Stout, all of St. Henry; a brother, Casper (Ruth Ann) Vondrell, Cocoa Beach, Fla.; three sisters, Ruth Liening and Helen (Marvin) Braun, all of St. Henry, and Ginny (Don) Stammen, Dayton; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Dick Remaklus; and a grandchild.
She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Henry Catholic Church and its Altar Rosary Sodality.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Ken Schroeder officiating. Burial is at the St. Henry Cemetery.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. today and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
