* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 12.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Versa Pak aims to expand

CELINA - Versa Pak wants to expand its facilities here and add 15 new employees in the next five years, if a city ordinance is approved by council members.
Council on Monday night approved first reading of the ordinance to sell 3.645 acres of the city's Grand Lake Industrial Park to PGB, Ltd., doing business as Versa Pak. The land is east of Versa Pak's current 5-acre property. [More]

CELINA - The city's unencumbered balance for 2010 is projected to be $123,607 - a bit better than a previous estimate of $50,300.

COLDWATER - Village Law Director Judy Koesters hopes a timetable will hasten the owner of a vacant home at 412 W. Main St. to become compliant with the nuisance rules in the village zoning ordinance.
Area barn destroyed in blaze
WILLSHIRE - Four area fire departments responded to a Saturday night fire near Willshire that destroyed a barn and damaged two nearby structures.
A passing motorist from Michigan called 911 at 8:11 p.m. to report the fire at a property owned by Alvin Buchanan at 11319 state Route 49.
Man jailed on rape charge
A 44-year-old Coldwater man remains incarcerated at the Mercer County Adult Detention Center after grand jurors returned a two-count indictment charging him with rape and sexual battery.
