M. Irene Spieles
M. Irene Spieles, 94, Lima, formerly of Delphos, died at 8:26 p.m. April 10, 2010, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 3, 1915, in Delphos, to Wilbert and Maria Leist Davis. Her former husbands, Hubert Spieles, Norbert Frantz, Lloyd Blake and Joseph Stoll, preceded her in death.
Surviving are four sons, Ronald (Nancy) Spieles, Vandalia, Larry (Jane) Spieles, Minster, Ted (Rose Ann) Spieles, Lima, and Michael (Debbie) Spieles, Crossville, Tenn., a daughter, Marilyn (John) Kugler, Daytona Beach, Fla.; a sister, Betty (John) Early, Lima; 29 grandchildren; 59 great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
Deceased are four siblings, Evelyn Poling, Norma Perrin, LaDonna Sheer and Harold Davis.
She worked as a sales person for Certified Electric of Warren, Pa.. She was a member of St. Rita's Auxiliary, Lima Senior Citizens, Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks Lodge 54, Lima, and St. Charles Catholic Church, Lima.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Thursday at St. John Catholic Church, Delphos. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, Delphos.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, Lima, and 10-11 a.m. at the church.
