* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Betty Otis
Betty Hamel Otis, 87, Celina, died at 2:10 p.m. June 25, 2010, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys due to natural causes.
She was born Sept. 24, 1922, in Fargo, N.D., to Leo and Alice Bope Hamel. On Oct. 9, 1944, she married James Otis, who survives.
Also surviving is a son, Jim (Jan) Otis, Chesterfield, Mo.; three daughters, Vickie Otis, Celina, Jeanie Otis Hamm, Dublin, and Sharon (Jim) Grimaud, St. Louis, Mo.; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Robert and Donald Hamel, and two sisters, Mildred Negratti and Jeanie Wells.
She was a retired registered nurse. She was a volunteer in nursing care for the American Red Cross; a charter and lifetime member of the Auxiliary of the Mercer County Medical Society, serving as its president in 1987; member and former president of Phi Beta Psi Sorority; member of Alturian Club; alumni of St. Vincent's School of Nursing, Toledo; and member of Shawnee Country Club in Lima. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Brenberger officiating. Burial will be in North Grove Cemetery.
Calling is 3-7 p.m. Monday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
Contribution may be made to the church, Otterbein Retirement Community in St. Marys or Red Cross.
