During the predawn hours, winds will increase ahead of a low pressure system moving east through the lower Great Lakes. Gusts of 30 to 40 mph are expected through this afternoon, possibly gusting to 45 mph in a few spots. Wind is expected to decrease overnight but remain relatively strong at 20-25 mph this evening.
Please be aware of these strong winds especially if driving a higher profile vehicle. Secure loose outdoor objects and shore up seasonal decorations if possible.

Eugene Overman
Eugene A. Overman, 80, Minster, died August 8, 2010, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
He was born March 22, 1930, in Maria Stein to William and Mary Beining Overman. On Sept. 15, 1951, he married Ladonna Budde, who died April 2, 2002. On Oct. 25, 2003, he married Mary Kramer Severt, who survives.
Also surviving are four children, Jeanmary (John) Lore, North Star, Paul (Rebecca) Overman, Fort Loramie, Martha Jutte, New Bremen, and John (Twyla) Overman, Lima; 10 step-children, Pat (Vicki) Severt, Jeanette Liette, Elaine (Dean) Blakeman, Christine Madden, Angela (Dan) Fleck, Mark (Linda) Severt, Lori (Ken) Defeo, Paul (Amy) Severt, Dan (Jan) Severt and Nick (Lisa) Severt; two sisters, Evelyn Eiting, Minster, and Joan Vondenhuevel, New Bremen; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.
Also deceased is a daughter, Barbara Overman; a son-in-law, Ken Jutte; a grandson, Brent Jutte; a sister, Irene Lallemand; and three brothers, Edgar, LeRoy and Victor Overman.
He attended St. Augustine Catholic Church in Minster. He was a life member of American Legion Post 387, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6432 amd Minster Machine Union Post 3210, all of Minster. He also was a member of the Piqua Korean War Veterans Association and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired in 1990 from Minster Machine after 42 years and sold Knapp Shoes.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial with full military honors by the Minster Firing Squad is 11 a.m. Saturday at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-9:30 a.m. Friday at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie.
