During the predawn hours, winds will increase ahead of a low pressure system moving east through the lower Great Lakes. Gusts of 30 to 40 mph are expected through this afternoon, possibly gusting to 45 mph in a few spots. Wind is expected to decrease overnight but remain relatively strong at 20-25 mph this evening.
Please be aware of these strong winds especially if driving a higher profile vehicle. Secure loose outdoor objects and shore up seasonal decorations if possible.

Boyd Loughrige
Boyd A. Loughrige, 63, Celina, died Aug. 20, 2010, at his home.
He was born May 12, 1947, in Muskegon, Mich., to Ashley and Lois Howard Loughrige. On July 18, 1970, he married Patricia E. Nolan who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Scott (Cate) Loughrige, Bolingbrook, Ill., and Chad (Erin) Loughrige, Pickerington; a daughter, Kristin (David) Anderson, Hamilton; two sisters, Noreen (Thomas) Schwieterman, Coldwater, and Mikki (Joe) Ward, Sequin, Texas; a brother, Robert (Pat) Loughrige, Pensacola, Fla., and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, George Loughrige.
He was former band director and principal at Botkins Local Schools and retired as band director with Celina City Schools in 1999. Following retirement, he was marching band director at Purdue University for three years.
A 1965 graduate of Coldwater High School, he received a teaching degree from Miami University and a master's degree from the University of Dayton. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5713, American Legion Post 210 and the Lions Club, all of Celina; the Ohio Education Association and the Ohio Music Education Association.
Services were 10:30 a.m. today at the church, the Rev. Jeff Conrad officiating. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery with the Legion and VFW conducting military rites.
