The Ohio House of Representatives Republican caucus will select a replacement for State Rep. Jim Zehringer, R-Fort Recovery, who was appointed as the new director of the Ohio Department of Agriculture on Tuesday.
A 22-year-old Indiana man died Tuesday morning of injuries sustained when a semitrailer hit the rear of the car in which he was a passenger.
The mishap occurred north of Fort Recovery at 7:08 a.m. at the intersection of state routes 49 and 219, according to Mercer County Sheriff's Office reports.
