Nellie Woodruff
Nellie M. Woodruff, 95, Geneva, Ind., died at 4:45 p.m. Dec. 21, 2010, at Swiss Village Retirement Center in Berne, Ind.
She was born Sept. 4, 1915, in Mercer County, to George and Laura Beams Bailey. On Aug. 2, 1933, she married Hobart Woodruff, who died Nov. 24, 1996.
Surviving are two daughters, Ina (Harold) Dick, Albany, Ind., and Connie (Charles) Lane, Bryant, Ind.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Also deceased are five brothers, Ernest, John, Bill, Bobby and Grover Bailey; and four sisters, Fannie Livingston, Hazel Houser Kaup, Gladys Now and Naomi Daugherty.
She attended New Corydon United Methodist Church in Geneva, Ind. She was a homemaker. She also attended Celina High School.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Friday at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home in Geneva, the Rev. Marvin Taylor officiating. Burial is at Riverside Cemetery in Geneva.
