Kenneth Patten
Kenneth Leo Patten, 65, Maria Stein, died at 9:42 a.m. Jan. 5, 2011, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center in Van Wert.
He was born Jan. 31, 1945, in Fort Wayne, Ind., to Dillo J. and Mildred J. Bowers Patten.
Surviving are a daughter, Tonya McKenzie, Port St. Lucie, Fla.; a brother, Arnold (Mary) Patten, and a sister-in-law, Devon Patten, all of Fort Wayne.
Deceased are three brothers, Lawrence (Lois) Patten, Arlen (Ann) Patten and Jack Patten; and a sister, Lola (Joseph) Carpino.
He graduated from New Haven High School in 1964. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked at Edy's Ice Cream in Fort Wayne.
A graveside memorial service is 10 a.m. Friday at the Dayton National Cemetery in Dayton, the Veterans Administration chaplin officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Dayton National Cemetery.
Memorials may be left at the Van Wert Hospice Inpatient Center in Van Wert.
