The combination of low level moisture and light winds will be favorable for fog development this afternoon. The fog, possibly dense at times, will last at least into this evening before some improvement occurs as a deepening area of low pressure ripples northeast through the region.
Motorists should expected visibilities to lower this afternoon with low visibilities continuing into this evening. Visibility may be reduced to a quarter mile or less at times. Be prepared to slow down, allow extra time to reach your destination, and keep your low beam headlights on.

* WHEN...From 4 AM to 7 PM EST Sunday.

Loa Welker
Loa Welker, 84, St. Marys, died at 2:23 a.m. Feb. 3, 2011, at her home.
She was born Dec. 24, 1926, in Mercer County, to Homer and Lydia Good Brookhart. On March 15, 1947, she married Arthur Welker, who died March 13, 2009.
Surviving is a son, Jim (Sue) Welker, Celina; a daughter, Becky (Jerry) Steinke, Waynesfield; four siblings, Dorothy Rice, Fort Shawnee, Wanda Ferner, Portland, Ind., Janice Hone, Mendon, and Stanley Brookhart, Fort Shawnee; four grandsons and nine great-grandchildren.
Also deceased is a brother, Carl Brookhart; and a sister, Beulah.
She worked at the former Goodyear Rubber Company. She also worked at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys and as a housekeeper. She was a member of the Faith Alliance Christian Missionary Church in New Bremen where she was active in the Ladies Group.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home in St. Marys, the Rev. Thomas Sager officiating. A luncheon will follow at the fellowship hall of the church. A private family burial will be at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Auglaize County Council on Aging in St. Marys.
