* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.

Verlin Meier
Verlin R. Meier, 73, Celina, died at 9:33 a.m. Feb. 20, 2011, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo.
He was born March 13, 1937, in Greenville to Harry C. and Ruth Blizzard Meier. On July 2, 1960, he married Sue Richardson, who survives.
Also surviving is a son, Craig (Elizabeth) Meier, Findlay; a daughter, Amy (John) Schnorberger, Toledo; a brother, Dale (Karen) Meier, Greenville; and four grandchildren.
Deceased is a daughter, Sheryl Lynn Meier.
He was a graduate of Arcanum High School and the Ohio State University, where he received a master's degree in agriculture in 1961. He retired as manager of Landmark in Celina. He was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Celina. He was a life member of the Ohio State Alumni Association and the Farm Bureau.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Joseph Allen officiating. Burial is at Greenville Cemetery in Greenville.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
