The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Lewis Kremer
Lewis A. Kremer, 84, Versailles, died at 9:40 p.m. April 23, 2011, at his residence.
He was born July 8, 1926, in Maria Stein to John D. and Agnes Menker Kremer. On April 28, 1945, he married Betty L. Cramer, who survives.
Also surviving are his children, Tony L. (Mary Ellen) Kremer, Celina; David "Red" (Ruth) Kremer, Versailles; Diana (Dale) George, Versailles; Jo (Chuck) Langenkamp, Greenville; Ron (Sheree) Kremer, Versailles; Jill (Clarence "Butch") Simons, Greenville; Dan (Jackie) Kremer, Versailles; and Ken (Julia) Kremer, Versailles; siblings, Walter (Rita) Kremer, Kettering; Fred (Martha) Kremer, West Lafayette, Ind.; Ray (Jean) Kremer, Coldwater; and Emily Minch, Celina; a sister-in-law, Nettie Cramer, Stafford, Va.; 26 grandchildren; and 49 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are his siblings, Ivo and Otto Kremer, Elsie Will and Dorothy Winner and half-siblings, Roman, Edward, Lawrence and Neal Kremer, Clara Balster and Herb Kremer.
He was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church Versailles. He retired from Minster Farmers' Co-op and also was a retired farmer. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. His memberships include the Knights of Columbus; Veterans of Foreign Wars; Eagles Lodge, all in Versailles;
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. David Vincent officiating. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery, Versailles, where graveside military rites will be conducted by the Versailles Veterans Honor Guard.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles.
