* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Southerly winds will increase today ahead of an approaching cold front. Sustained winds of 15 to 25 mph can be expected with gusts of 35 to 45 mph at times this afternoon. Be sure to secure outdoor objects.

Donald Stachler
Donald W. "Quack" Stachler, 71, of Coldwater, died July 29, 2011, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton.
He was born May 1, 1940, in Montezuma, to Edmund and Dorothy Ahrns Stachler. On Nov. 10, 1962, he married Patricia Garman, who survives.
Other survivors are five children, Donna Coats, Coldwater, Jeff (Peggy) Stachler, Lawrenceville, Ga., Scott Stachler, Coldwater, Brenda (Charlie) Schlarman, Wendelin, and Eric (Kelly) Stachler, Coldwater; seven siblings, Dolores (Dale) Droesch, Coldwater, Dennis (Phyllis) Stachler, Burkettsville, Darrell (Patricia) Stachler, Cincinnati, Dianna Hemmelgarn, Versailles, Dale Stachler, Greenville, Duane (Debra) Stachler of Michigan, and Daniel (Mona) Stachler, Greenville; and seven grandchildren.  
Deceased is a brother, David.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Philothea, and its Men's Holy Name Society, the Wendelin Sportsman's Club and the Fraternal Order of Eagles 3025 of Coldwater. He retired from the former New Idea plant, Coldwater.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Barry Stechschulte officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
