* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Additional storms will move into the area after midnight, persisting through late Friday morning. Heavy rain can be expected with these storms, with the risk of flash flooding increasing with storms that repeatedly move over the same locations.

Jeanne Ballenger
Jeanne D. Ballenger, 86, St. Marys, died Sept. 2, 2011, at Otterbein Lifestyle Choices, St. Marys.
She was born Feb. 22, 1925, in Akron, to Charles "Pop" and Pauline Junkins Cain. On July 21, 1946, she married Richard Ballenger, who died Dec. 12, 2001.
Surviving are a son, Robert (Shirley Williams) Ballenger, Tampa, Fla.; a former daughter-in-law, Becky Ballenger, St. Marys; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Kay Warner and Helen Runyon.
A 1943 graduate of North High School in Akron, she headed the St. Marys Chamber of Commerce and later the American Red Cross in St. Marys. She attended Wayne Street United Methodist Church in St. Marys.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Meyer Community Chapel on the Otterbein campus, the Rev. Carol Sainey officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.
