* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Daniel Young
Daniel D. Young, 68, Mendon, died at 5:25 p.m. Nov. 25, 2011, at the Laurels of Shane Hill Nursing Home.
He was born Oct. 20, 1943, in Mercer County to Harry Benjamin and Ida Ruth Dietch Young. On Sept. 6, 1965, he married Carolyn Ann Coffman, who survives.
Also surviving are children, Mary (Dan) Snyder, Mendon, Anna (Heath) Bash, Portland, Ind., and Danny Young, Fort Wayne, Ind.; stepchildren, Cindy Luedeke, Mendon, Victor Snyder, Adrian, Mich., Vickey (Jay) Jefferies, Montezuma, and Pam Snyder, Celina; siblings, Benny (Doris) Young, Mendon, Bonnie (Ralph) Bensman, St. Marys, Jean (Ernie) England, Mendon, Larry (Connie) Young, Sioux City, Iowa, Kathy Gibson, Wapakoneta, Sharon (Dan) King, Venedocia, John (Bonnie) Young, Rockford, Tim (Linda) Young, Venedocia, Roberta (Mike) Sutter, Coldwater, and Alberta (Paul) Siegrist, St. Henry; sister-in-law, Sharon Young, St. Marys; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Deceased are brothers and a sister-in-law, Steve and Martha Young and Ralph Young and three grandchildren.
He was a member of Celina Baptist Temple and had operated the church bus for many years. He retired in 2001 as a welder from Strick Trailer Corp., Monroe, Ind.
Service is 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church, the Revs. Steve Clayton and Jason Springer officiating. Burial will follow in Mendon Cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, and after noon Tuesday at the church.
