Scattered snow showers will continue through mid morning. With temperatures well below freezing, light snow accumulations will combine with lingering black ice from overnight, to create some slick spots on area roadways. In addition, brisk westerly winds will gust in the 25 to 35 mph range this morning.
If traveling this morning, allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses as well as untreated surfaces.

Lucas Staugler
Lucas E. Staugler, 22, Fort Recovery, died Jan. 23, 2012, following an auto accident on Mercer-Darke County Line Road.
He was born July 10, 1989, in Coldwater to Mindy Staugler, who survives in Fort Recovery.
Also surviving are several uncles, aunts and cousins.
Deceased are grandparents, Les and Joan Staugler.
He was a 2008 graduate of Fort Recovery High School and was a second shift supervisor at JR Manufacturing, Fort Recovery. He was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
Memorials may be made to Fort Recovery Athletic Boosters' weight room project.
