Allen Langenkamp
Allen A. Langenkamp, 74, St. Henry, died at 2:55 a.m. Feb. 6, 2012, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
He was born Nov. 11, 1937, in St. Henry to Clarence and Anna Kemper Langenkamp. On June 27, 1959, he married Mary Agnes Moeder, who survives.
Also surviving are five children, Lori (Ken) Wieck, St. Henry, Brenda Post, New Bremen, David (Kim) Langenkamp, Coldwater, Lisa (Tom) LeFevre, Fort Recovery, and Buffy (Bruce) Froning, St. Henry; a brother, Clarence Langenkamp, Fort Recovery; 19 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are siblings and spouses, Robert and Carol Lang-enkamp, Mary Ann and Walter Minch and Dolores and Leo Hatert; a sister-in-law, Janet Langenkamp; and a grandchild.
He was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church and Coldwater Eagles. He was a past volunteer fireman with St. Henry Fire Department and was retired from New Idea, Coldwater.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Benedict Magabe officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
