The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Colista Kitchen
Colista Kitchen, 68, St. Marys, died suddenly at 9 a.m. Feb. 12, 2012, in the emergency department at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born Jan. 21, 1944 in Olive Hill, Ky., to James and Evelyn Carpenter Middletown. On March 28, 1964, she married Charles Gary Kitchen, who survives.
Also surviving are children, Penny Ashley, Wyandott, Mich., Raberta Kitchen, Wapakoneta, Garrett Stacy (Ann) Kitchen, St. Marys, and Leslie Kitchen, St. Marys; siblings, Mary (Bert) Reynolds, Watkins, Colo., Sarah Kegley, Olive Hill, Dolly (Jerry) Saddler, Lisbon, Loretta (Michael) Newlon, Mansfield, James Middleton, Olive Hill, and Stanley Middleton, Olive Hill; and eight grandchildren.
Deceased are a sister, Thelma Poling and two infant brothers.
She was a homemaker and previously worked at Pyro-Pak in New Knoxville. She was a Baptist.
Service is 11 a.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys. Burial will follow in Middletown Cemetery, Carter County, Ky.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
