Evelyn C. Eiting, 84, Minster, died at 2 a.m. April 25, 2012, at Otterbein Senior Lifestyle Choices, St. Marys.

She was born Dec. 1, 1927, in Maria Stein, to William and Mary Buening Overman. On March 3, 1962, she married Wilmer "Bud" Eiting, who died April 11, 1973.

Surviving are a daughter, Elaine (Eric) Roemer, Ancona, Ill.; a sister, Joanne Vondenhueval, New Bremen; in-laws, Mary Ann Overman, St. Marys, Kenneth Eiting, Minster, and Ethel Joyce, Vandalia; and two grandchildren.

Deceased are five siblings, Irene Lallemand, Leroy Overman, Victor Overman, Eugene Overman and Edgar Overman.

She was a homemaker, and a former nanny in Dayton. She worked at White Mountain Creamery and retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber, St. Marys. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster.

Funeral Mass is 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Calling is 5-8 p.m. Friday and 8:30 - 9:15 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
