An employee of the Auglaize County Engineer's Office uses a crane to backfill a culvert extension along the Miami and Erie Canal north of Minster. Crews are beginning the last phase of the project from Seventh Street to state Route 119. Village administrator Don Harrod said the banks will be permitted to settle before stones are brought in later in the year.
