* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Barbara Egbert
Barbara A. Egbert, 74, of New Bremen, died at 12:05 a.m. May 17, 2012, at her home.
She was born May 13, 1938, in Minster, to Steven and Ruby Mackley Oldiges. On May 25, 1957, she married Alvin Egbert, who died Sept. 16, 2003.
Surviving are two children, Pam Egbert, Wapakoneta, and David (Deborah) Egbert, Richmond, Va.; a brother, Donald (JoAnne) Oldiges, Bellbrook; two sisters, Connie Birdeshaw, Wintergarden, Fla., and Vicki (Larry) Creech, Orlando, Fla.; five grandchildren and a great-grandson.
A sister, Sharon Aspinall, and a granddaughter are deceased.
She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, New Bremen, and a 1956 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School.
Services are 10:30 a.m. May 25 at the church, the Revs. Becky Erb Strang and Stephen Wills officiating. Burial will follow at German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. May 25 at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rita's Hospice.
