* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 104 possible.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Consecutive days of excessive heat and humidity combined with very warm low temperatures can be especially hazardous as the overnight hours provide little relief from the heat. The heat may continue into Wednesday.

Paul Zehringer
Celina native Paul W. Zehringer, 61, of Mesa, Ariz., died July 25, 2012, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz.
He was born June 21, 1951, in Celina, to E. James and Rita Fortkamp Zehringer. His mother survives in Coldwater. On Aug. 2, 1996, he married Sue Gerbus, who survives.
Other survivors are a daughter, Amber Zehringer, Kokomo, Ind.; four brothers, James (Sharon) Zehringer, Fort Recovery, Joseph (Tonia) Zehringer, Union City, Chuck Zehringer, Celina, and Dan Zehringer, Centerville; seven sisters, Mary Gibson, Coldwater, Linda (John) Ridgway, Hilliard, Theresa (D.J.) Bisel, Osteen, Fla., Margaret (Mike) Tobe, Celina, Nancy (Dean) Darland, Greenville, Mich., Jane (Jim) Rammel, Fort Recovery, and Barb (Chris) Stucke, Cincinnati; and two grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Ray and Gary Zehringer, and a brother-in-law, Frank Gibson.
He was a 1969 graduate of Fort Recovery High School and formerly owned Express Beer and Wine, Greenville. He also was a manager at Harbor Freight, Mesa. He was a Fourth Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus, a member of the American Legion and served with the U.S. Air Force Reserve.
Funeral arrangements are planned at a later date with Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
