* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Wednesday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Several rounds of thunderstorms are expected through Tuesday night. Locally heavy rainfall can be expected with the potential for storms to repeatedly track over the same locations. This will result in the potential for flash flooding.

Edwin Springer
Edwin Eugene Springer, 65, Wapakoneta, died at 2:44 p.m. Oct. 5, 2012, at his home.
He was born Jan. 10, 1947, in Celina, to Charles and Martha Dennings Springer. On Feb. 4, 1967, he married Shirley Cook, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Edwin Eugene II "Chip" (Laura) Springer, New Bremen, and Michael Joseph (Kara) Springer, Wapakoneta; a brother, Terry (Linda) Springer, Lima; two half brothers, Don (Dorothy) Springer, Celina, and Charles (Wanda) Springer, Temperance, Mich.; and four grandchildren.
He graduated from Wapakoneta High School in 1965 and studied at the Allied Institute of Technology, Chicago until 1966. He entered the U.S. Army and was stationed at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Aberdeen, Md., and Giessen, Germany.
He worked for 37 years at Ford Motor Company, Lima, as a machine repairman. He then taught at Apollo Career Center. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and American Legion Post 330, both of Wapakoneta.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery with military rites by VFW Post 8445.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Schlosser Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Wapakoneta.
