Eileen Ranly
Eileen H. Ranly, 81, Cassella, died Nov. 13, 2012, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.
She was born May 8, 1931, in Cranberry Prairie to Urban and Augusta Muhlenkamp Link. On April 29, 1950, she married Arthur E. Ranly, who died Aug. 16, 2003.
Surviving are nine children, John (Janice) Ranly, Cassella, Kathleen (Leon) Homan, New Bremen, Jeffery (Barbara) Ranly, Dayton, Peg (Steve) Hirsch, Massillon, Lisa (Terry) Moeller, Cassella, Joel (Sherri) Ranly, St. Henry, Martin (Carol) Ranly, Richland, Mich., Matthew (Beth) Ranly, Minster, and Jason (Becky) Ranly, Maria Stein; two sisters, Edna Prenger, Minster, and Bernice (Charles) Stacy, Kentucky; a brother, Ralph (Esther) Link, Dayton; in-laws Marie Ranly, Minster, Orville (Alma) Ranly, Philothea, Donald (Joan) Ranly, Columbia, Mo., Lucille Droesch, Chickasaw, Ella Mae (Ralph) Liette, Chickasaw, and Rosemary Obringer, Coldwater; 30 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Also deceased are two daughters, Kristina Ranly and Lora Ranly; her stepmother, Celesta Link; a brother, Melvin (Dottie) Link; two sisters, Hulda (Frank) Feltz and Viola (Othmar) Leugers; and two brothers-in-law, Leo Prenger and Art Meyer.
She belonged to Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Cassella, as well as the Christian Ladies Society and Catholic Financial Life. She also volunteered at Maria Stein Spiritual Center.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-9:45 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.
