* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Consecutive days of excessive heat and humidity combined with very warm low temperatures can be especially hazardous as the overnight hours provide little relief from the heat. The heat may continue into Wednesday.

Wilbert Bruns
Wilbert W. Bruns, 88, Coldwater, died Dec. 7, 2012, at Celina Manor.
He was born May 24, 1924, to August and Anna Leugers Bruns. On April 27, 1946, he married Thelma Bertke, who survives.
Also surviving are seven children, Donna Gilmore, Coldwater, Dave (Jill) Bruns, Coldwater, Dale (Deb) Bruns, Coldwater, Dodie (Jerry) Bruggeman, St. Henry, Denise (Dan) Brackman, Coldwater, Don (Beth) Bruns, Coldwater, and Dan (Kim) Bruns, Coldwater; siblings, George (Rosie) Bruns, Chickasaw, Leonard Bruns, Greenville, Helen (George) Barhorst, Fort Loramie, Dolores Gaier, Fort Loramie, and Dorothy Lehmkuhl, Lakeview; a sister-in-law, Janice Bruns, Jackson Center; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are his stepmother, Agnes Buening; three brothers, Alvin Bruns, Ralph (Alice) Bruns and Walter (Dorothy) Bruns; a sister, Mary Agnes (Dutch) Ranly; two brothers-in-law, Jack Gaier and Jim Lehmkuhl; and a son-in-law, Jack Gilmore
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, Men's Holy Name Society of the church, Coldwater Knights of Columbus Council 1991, Coldwater Eagles 3025 and social member at Coldwater American Legion Post 470. He worked as a milk hauler for the former Pet Milk, Coldwater, and owned and operated Home Service Station, Coldwater.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
Memorials may be given to State of the Heart Hospice.
