William Burd
William E. Burd, 82, Celina, died of natural causes at 7:15 p.m. Jan. 27, 2013, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born Aug. 8, 1930, in New Bremen to Arthur and Agnes Ridenour Burd, who are deceased. On June 19, 1948, he married Eva Lou Schmidt, who survives in Celina.
Also surviving are a son, Randy (Tina) Burd, Celina; three daughters, Laura (Steve) Billger of Celina, Linda (George) Stott of Knoxville, Tenn., and Kathy (Nick) Perez of Celina; a brother, Richard (Sandra) Burd of Celina; two sisters, Luella (Harold) Muter of Celina and Evelyn "Tots" Horn of Poland, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Harry Burd and Art Burd.
He was retired from Goodyear after 40 years as a supervisor.
A memorial service is 7 p.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Jeff. Gramza officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Mercer Memory Gardens.
Calling is 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to State of the Heart Hospice.
