* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Urban Buschur
Urban Buschur Jr., 81, New Bremen, died June 6, 2013, at 12:10 a.m. at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
He was born Sept. 17, 1931, in Coldwater, to Urban H. and Rosena (Dippold) Buschur. On Sept. 5, 1953, he married Mary Topp, who survives in New Bremen.
Also surviving are his children, Mark (Katrina) Buschur, Fort Loramie; Debra (Joe) Gruebmeyer, New Bremen; Kathy (Todd) Fleagle, St. Marys; Tim Buschur, New Bremen, and Larry Buschur, Russia; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; siblings, Marilyn Koch, McComb; Ron (Joan) Buschur, Celina; Marvin (Sue) Buschur, Coldwater, and a brother-in-law, James Homan, Coldwater.
Preceding him in death were a sister, Thelma Homan, and a brother-in-law, Charles Koch.
He was a member of the Church of the Holy Redeemer in New Bremen, where he was a former parish council member and had been a lector for a number of years. He served on the New Bremen Village Council for a number of years and then was elected mayor of New Bremen and served 1984 until 1995. He later became the director of economic development and was instrumental in the formation of the New Bremen Industrial Park located on the west edge of New Bremen.
He was a charter member of the New Bremen/New Knoxville Rotary Club and for many years was chairman of the high school career day. He was an engineer at the former STAMCO in New Bremen for over 40 years and enjoyed bowling, fishing, gardening and was proficient in video poker.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Church of the Holy Redeemer, New Bremen, the Rev. Ron Wilker, the Rev. Jerry Buschur and the Rev. Greg Bornhorst officiating. Burial will follow in the German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home in New Bremen and 9:30-10 a.m. Monday at the church, where the Rosary will be prayed.
Memorials may be given to the New Bremen Emergency Squad.
