* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Grace Carmean
Grace M. Carmean, 85, St. Marys, died at 6:55 p.m. July 27, 2013, at the Golden Living Center in St. Marys.
She was born Nov. 17, 1927, in Washington Township, Auglaize County, to Erbin and Luetta Piepmeyer Stienecker. She married Francis "Brow" Carmean on Dec. 22, 1945, in New Knoxville, and he died March 27, 2013.
She is survived by two children, Janet (Al) Meinerding of St. Marys and Jack (Lynne) Carmean of St. Marys; nine grandchildren, Marcie (Jeff) Albright of St. Marys, Isaak Meinerding of St. Marys, John (Emily) Meinerding of St. Marys, Jakob (Ellyn) Meinerding of Cincinnati, Samantha Meinerding of St. Marys, Jason (Misty) Carmean of Wapakoneta, Jill (Nathan) Young of Marysville, Craig (Amanda) Carmean of Atlanta and Paul Carmean of St. Marys; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Katie Meinerding; siblings, Rolland Stienecker, Merlin Stienecker, Vernon Stienecker, Bernice Smith, Edith Rosengarden and Eunice Kohlreiser.
She retired from Brodbeck's Market in St. Marys, where she had been a meat cutter. She had also worked at the former DWG Cigar Factory in St. Marys. She was a member of the DAV Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary. She was an accomplished seamstress and an avid camper. She loved to go ballroom dancing, and was a bingo volunteer at Auglaize Acres, DAV and American Legion. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in St. Marys.
Funeral rites are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home in St. Marys, the Rev. Dr. Ed Bray officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial gifts may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
