Scattered snow showers can be expected this morning along with westerly winds gusting to around 40 mph at times. Temperatures will continue to fall this morning, with readings dropping well below freezing.
Snow accumulations will be a half inch or less. This will result in some slick spots on untreated surfaces as well as bridges and overpasses. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination this morning. Be prepared for changing road conditions as well as gusty winds.

An arctic cold front will move quickly east across the region through daybreak. This will usher in a much colder airmass with temperatures quickly falling below freezing.
Snow showers can be expected this morning with snow accumulations of a half inch or less possible. This will combine with the falling temperatures to produce slick spots on untreated roadways. In addition, brisk west winds will gust to 25 to 35 mph at times this morning.
The morning commute will be affected by these conditions. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick spots, especially on bridges an overpasses.

Cory Michael
Cory D. Michael, 27, Minster, died Sept. 6, 2013, at his residence following a 14-month illness.
He was born Aug. 10, 1986, in Troy to Michele Michael, Minster, and Douglas and stepmother Blanca Michael, St. Marys. On Oct. 30, 2010, in St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, he married Angela J. Brown, who survives.
Also surviving are a brother, Brian (Sabrina Beediwala) Long, Miamisburg; a stepbrother, Carlos (Carolina) Castillo, St. Marys; grandparents, Jack and Janice Michael, Harrod; and in-laws, Roy and Elaine Brown, Minster.
Deceased are grandparents, John and Peg Blue.
He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, a 2005 graduate of Minster High School, a graduate of Rhodes State College with an associate degree in law enforcement, and Franklin University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in public safety management. He was employed at the Minster Police Department, Auglaize County Sheriff's Office and Globus Printing, Minster.
He loved music and was a past member of the band Never Ending Conflict.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Revs. Rick Nieberding and Ned Brown officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
