Scattered snow showers can be expected this morning along with westerly winds gusting to around 40 mph at times. Temperatures will continue to fall this morning, with readings dropping well below freezing.
Snow accumulations will be a half inch or less. This will result in some slick spots on untreated surfaces as well as bridges and overpasses. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination this morning. Be prepared for changing road conditions as well as gusty winds.

An arctic cold front will move quickly east across the region through daybreak. This will usher in a much colder airmass with temperatures quickly falling below freezing.
Snow showers can be expected this morning with snow accumulations of a half inch or less possible. This will combine with the falling temperatures to produce slick spots on untreated roadways. In addition, brisk west winds will gust to 25 to 35 mph at times this morning.
The morning commute will be affected by these conditions. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick spots, especially on bridges an overpasses.

Laura Sudhoff
Laura M. Sudhoff, 86, Fort Recovery, died Sept. 5, 2013, at her residence.
She was born May 5, 1927, in Dayton to Norbert and Frances Westgerdes Stammen. On Sept. 26, 1953, she married Walter Sudhoff in New Bremen, and he died April 11, 2005.
Surviving are a daughter, Karen (Larry) Trefz, Clearwater, Fla.; a sister, Dolores Robbins, Celina; a brother, Harold (Irene) Stammen, New Bremen; a brother-in-law, Herman Uhlenhake, Chickasaw; a sister-in-law, Joan Stammen, New Bremen; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a brother, Maurice Stammen; an infant brother, Marian Stammen; and an infant sister, Maryann Stammen.
She retired from Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Altar Sodality.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery.
A luncheon and reception of friends will be held in the church hall following Mass.
