State Cross Country Meet

HEBRON - Four cross country teams and seven individuals from the Grand Lake area competed in the chilly and damp state cross country meet on Saturday at the National Trail Raceway in Hebron.
Coldwater's girls team finished as the Division III runners-up in the last two state meets and this year's goal was to claim the state championship. [More]

ASHLAND - Facing the state's top-ranked team in Division II, Celina's girls soccer team was never intimidated.
A quick goal at the start of the second half proved to be the difference-maker for Rocky River as the Pirates defeated the Bulldogs 3-2 in Saturday's regional final at Community Field in Ashland. [More]

St. Marys' Jack Kuffner honored for a lifetime of community service
ST. MARYS - A lifetime of giving back to the community has earned a former resident a place in the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame.

MILLBURY - The season came to an end for Coldwater's volleyball team on Saturday as the Cavaliers lost a five-set classic - 27-25, 21-25, 25-17, 20-25 and 15-11 - against Upper Sandusky in the Division III regional finals at the Flyer Fieldhouse at Millbury Lake High School.
